Around the world in 1.5 hours exactly!

Last night was lovely and relaxed. A whistle-stop tour of the world saw us take in some famous sights, even if they were a little thinner, neon-er and strawier than usual... :)

International cuisine was provided by all, ranging from chocolate, to biscuits, to cake - Vee's brilliant savoury contributions unfortunately got neglected, from sheer laziness. It's a summery kind of laziness, 'cause last night it was just SO hot! Super special awesome Frisbee sessions were well worth the effort of getting up once we realised who the pros (Emma!!) and the un-pros (Becky! :P) were - although maybe Becky should have some allowance made for her huge bruise!

Inventiveness award for the evening goes to Maria - when the Frisbee got stuck in the tree, the brave girl volunteered both her shoes as projectiles, and it worked!

Ooh, and we did a very short straw obstacle course. A painful one. To be honest, we didn't make a lot of effort - sprawling on the floor was a lot more appealing!

I can't remember any of the quotes of the evening, even though I know I said two of them, and Clare said the other. (Help me out? Becky, I'm looking at you!) But we did lose the Game three times! This I know. :)

Next week is Friends Like These, so we need outsiders :O If it's as hot as this week, they won't see us at our usual energetic level - so perhaps we'll almost be normal....

  1. I agree - a chilled evening catching up with friends, chocolate close at hand, what more could a girl want?
